R14JALCTOW667999 dated 08.01.2014 valid upto 30.06.2018 and Vide no. R14JALCTOA667933 dated 08.01.2014 valid upto 30.06.2018.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="line-height: 148%; margin: .55pt 7.05pt .0001pt 36.3pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 148%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now the industry has applied for renewal of consents under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 through OCMMS of the Board. The industry has deposited Rs. 9450/- vide R.N. 12/5111 dated 02.01.2019, Rs. 9000/- vide R.No. INDBN22031242883 dated 22.03.2023<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and Rs. 9000/- vide R. No. 86/5484 dated 18.04.2023 under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 9450/- vide R.N. 13/5111 dated 02.01.2019, Rs. 9500/-(Including application form fee) vide R.No. INDBN22031243056 dated 22.03.2023 and Rs. 9000/- vide R. No. 85/5484 dated 18.04.2023 under Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 30.09.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="line-height: 148%; margin: .55pt 7.05pt .0001pt 36.3pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 148%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry was visited by officer of this office on 19.04.2023 and it was observed that the industry was in operation and was engaged in the process of manufacturing of S.G iron Casting. The industry has installed 1 no. induction furnace of capacity 250 kg/heat with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has installed one annealing furnace with adequate stack height. The industry has installed 1 no. shot blast machine with bag filter house as APCD. The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 15 KVA with canopy and attached to stack of adequate height. There is no source of generation of trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. The industry has already submitted approved building plan from competent person under Factory act, Punjab. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: 0cm; line-height: 148%; margin: .55pt 7.05pt .0001pt 36.3pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 148%;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The industry is small scale orange category and the competency of case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office, Jalandhar.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: 0cm; line-height: 148%; margin: .55pt 7.05pt .0001pt 36.3pt;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 148%;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2028 with suitable conditions and with special condition that the industry will get its stack emission sample analyzed from Board’s Lab within 01 month.</span></p> |
