<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· It is intimated that the industry is small scale red category dyeing unit and discharging its effluent into the conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 valid upto 04.01.2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 for the production of Dyeing Of Knitted Fabric & Polyester Fabric@ 12 TPD (for changed production). The industry had already deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.06.2024.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">· The industry was visited by AEE of RO on 22.03.2023 and it was observed that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. The industry was not in operation during visit, due to electric disconnection.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The industry has installed a boiler of capacity 08 TPH attached with cyclone separator alongwith adequate stack height. Rice husk was lying at site for using fuel in its boiler.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">3. The industry has installed one DG set of 125 KVA with canopy along with adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">With the operation of 3 soft flow machines of capacity 300 Kg each, the waste water generation will be 97.2 KLD and Dyeing Of Knitted Fabric & Polyester Fabric @ 5400 Kg/day is to be curtail.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The site of industry falls in light and service industrial zone as per Master Plan, Ludhiana vide CLU issued by MCL letter no. 312 dated 24.02.2016.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hence, till the finalization of the allotment of the shares of CETP 50 MLD, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted with usual conditions, please. </p>
