<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">The HCF was granted authorization under BMW (Management & Handling) Rules, 1998 vide no. BMW/Renewal/LDH2/2018/7420590 dated 08.05.2018, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide No. </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2022/18669985</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; background: white;"> & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide No. </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">CTOA/Renewal/LDH2/2022/18670053</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; background: white;"> dated 01.06.2022 which were valid upto 31.3.2023. Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of its consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents i.e. compliance of previous consent conditions, effluent analysis report from Private lab, but not NABL lab. As per analysis report all the parameters are within limits prescribed. The HCF has submitted agreement with M/s Sembramky for disposal of its bio medical waste properly which is valid upto 31.03.2026. The HCF has already deposited consent fee adequate upto 31.12.2028. The HCF provided proper color coding bins for the segregation of bio medical waste at each generation points. The HCF has maintained the record of BMW generation w.r.t. its disposal to M/s Sembramky. The HCF was treating its liquid waste with hypochlorite solution. The HCF was visited on 19.04.2023 and found complying.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 24px;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; background: white;">May if approved, consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the HCF upto 31.03.2026 with usual conditions as per policy of the Board and with special conditions as below:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -35.45pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; color: #5d5d5d;">1.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif'; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall ensure to comply with the effluent standards as notified under Bio-medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 amended upto date and subsequent amendments if any.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -42.55pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';"> 2.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">This authorization is valid for 25 no. beds only.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">3 .</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall apply for obtaining authorization under BMW Rules, 2016 within week alongwith requisite consent fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">4.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall comply with the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, amended in 2018, in true letter & spirit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">5.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> .</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall segregate Bio-Medical Waste as per Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, amended in 2018 in true letter and spirit all the times.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">6.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall use syringes with fixed needles and shall provide Puncture proof containers for the collection of the sharp waste.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">7.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall send Bio Medical Waste on regular basis to common bio medical waste treatment facility and shall also maintain the record of the same all the times.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">8.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall provide needle shredder/ cutter for cutting purpose within its premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">9.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">If the HCF generates waste hypo- fixer solution and X-ray films, then HCF will make an agreement with M/s Malana Silver Nitrate Recycling unit, Village Rampur Gujran, Tehsil Moonak, District Sangrur for lifting and disposal of same.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -36pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">10.</span><span style="font-size: 7pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', 'serif';"> </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style', 'serif';">The HCF shall got extend the validity of agreement made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry.</span></p>
