<p style="text-align: justify;">Please find attached herewith copy of proceedings of the personal hearing held on 21.04.2023 before the Senior Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office-2, Ludhiana, wherein it was decided that the printing section of the industry be sealed on the request of the industry. Further, the request for restoration of electric connection be processed on merit to Competent Authorities.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry falls in Industrial Mix Zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana and dry process/ green category are permissible in this zone. The consent fee is valid upto 31.03.2025.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">1. Directions u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be issued to restore the electric connection of the industry permanently.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">2. The printing section of the industry be sealed on the request of the industry and consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31.03.2025 for dry unit with special condition that the industry shall not operate its printing section without prior permission of the Board. </p>
