CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2022/19512040 dated 26/08/2022 and under the Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2022/19165799 dated 26/08/2022 both were valid upto 31/03/2023, for development of Commercial Complex (Retails, Multiplex, Studio, Hotel Rooms, Office Block, Club etc.) in an area of in an area of 16888.62 sqm and having built up area 104848.904 sqm. Project namely &lsquo;Homeland Mall&rsquo; in Sec- 67, Distt. SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab by M/s A.B Alcobev Pvt. Ltd, subject to suitable conditions and special conditions that:</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">1) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will provide water meter over the borewells and keep record.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">2) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will complete the work of 2nd module of STP of 195 KLD capacity immediately and inform to Board. The project proponent will provide separate water meter over the line leading to plantation, flushing and GMADA sewer and will maintain record. The project proponent will replace the faulty water meter.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">3) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will complete the work of connection of treated water line from outlet of STP to plantation area, flushing, HVAC / DG Cooling and GMADA sewer immediately &amp; inform Board. The project proponent will ensure that no fresh water is being supplied for plantation area &amp; flushing activities.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">4) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will complete the electrical work of ETP, connect the treated water line with gardening, install filter press with the ETP, provide flow meter with the ETP and maintain record of operation of ETP.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">5) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will install mechanical composters of adequate size within the site for treatment of bio-degradable waste and keep record.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">6) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will ensure that no single use plastic items banned by MoEFCC notification no. G.S.R. 571(E) dated 12.08.2021 are being used within the project premises.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">7) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent will complete the work of development of green area @ 350 sqm and inform Board.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">8) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent may also develop the vermicomposting/composting to manage the biodegradable solid waste. PP shall not throw, burn or bury any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">9) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project proponent shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">10) <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The project proponent shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">11) The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated &amp; disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%;"><strong><u><span style="font-size: 15.5pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma;">Environmental Clearance Status </span></u></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin;">The promoter company has also earlier obtained Environmental Clearance vide letter no. SEIAA/2016/3149 dated 22.08.2016 for developing a commercial mall namely &lsquo;Homeland Mall&rsquo; in Sec- 67, Distt. SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab by M/s A.B AlcobevPvt. Ltd. in an area 16556 sqm and built up area 92205.87 sqm. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin;">Thereafter, the promoter company had obtained Environmental Clearance for expansion of a commercial mall namely &lsquo;CP-67&rsquo; (earlier Homeland Mall) in Sec- 67, Distt. SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab by M/s A.B Alcobev Pvt. Ltd. vide F. no. 21-104/2020-IA.III dated 04.08.2021 from MoEFCC in an area 16556 sqm and built up area 1,08,196 sqm. As per the revised EC, the project shall have 2B+G+12 floors having Studio apartments consisting of 100 rooms, club, dining area &amp; office; Multiplex having 940 seats, office &amp; restaurant; retail in an area of 17680.9 sqm having shops, restaurant, food stall, kitchen &amp; club; IT Block office in an area of 8223 sqm,Office block in an area of 7941.24 sqm. Total estimated population was 10937 persons.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin;">As per the revised Environment Clearance during operational phase, total water requirement of the project is expected to be 420 KLD (370 KLD Domestic water demand + 25 KLD swimming pool make up water + 23 KLD HVAC &amp; DG cooling + 2 KLD Horticultural demand) and the same will be met by 239 KLD fresh water from borewells (2 nos) and 181 KLD recycled water. 296 KLD of wastewater generated will be treated in an STP of total 390 KLD capacity. 181 KLD of treated wastewater will be recycled and re-used (156 KLD for flushing, 2 KLD for gardening and 23 KLD for HVAC and DG cooling). About 109 KLD will be disposed off for nearby construction or to GMADA sewer. However, during construction phase, total water requirement is expected to be 12 KLD which will be met by treated water. During the construction phase, septic tank will be provided for disposal of waste-water and temporary sanitary toilets will be provided during peak labor force.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Cambria','serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin;">About 2,567 kg/day solid wastes will be generated in the project. The biodegradable waste (1,155 kg/day) will be processed in mechanical composters and the non-biodegradable and hazardous waste generated (1,412 kg/day) will be handed over to authorized local vendor. 4 rain water recharging pits have been proposed. 350 sqm of green area and plantation of 375 trees is proposed. Earlier, the promoter company has deposited Rs. 5,64,000/- vide UTR. no HDFCR52022080386620726 dated 03.08.2022 under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>and Rs 5,66,500/- vide UTR. no HDFCR52022080386626223 dated 03.08.2022 under Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 .
