<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="background-color: white; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 13.5pt;">From the perusal of the note history of the previous applications it is submitted as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">The industry was <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/FGS/2018/7597205 dated 03/06/2018 valid upto 30/09/2022 and was granted consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 CTOA/Renewal/FGS/2018/7591548 for the manufacturing of Steel Ingots @ 110 T/day dated 03/06/2018 valid upto 02/06/2019 with suitable conditions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">The industry on application was granted varied CTO for production of Steel Ingots @ 84 T/day only under Air Act 1981 in the year 2020 but the industry should have applied <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for CTO under the Water Act 1974 for production of Steel Ingots @ 84 T/day along with Air application.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">The industry was lastly granted renewal of consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/FGS/2021/16656310 dated 22/10/2021 valid upto 30/09/2025 for manufacturing of Steel ingots @ 84 MTD .</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d; background: white;">Since the consent to operate under the Water Act 1981 has expired in 30/9/2022, the industry has now applied for obtaining CTO for manufacturing of Steel ingots @ 84 MTD as it has already obtained CTO under Air Act 1981 for the same production capacity.</span></p>
