<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">Decision no. 1- Third party audit for evaluation of ETP: </span></strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">PBTI along with RO visited the unit on 08.10.2020. But the third party evaluation could not be done as the industry shown inability to deposit Rs. 2,15,000/- to the PBTI as auditing charges. Thereafter on the request of industry for relaxation from third party audit, the Competent Authority has constituted a surprise team from the Board officers. This team visited the unit on 15.12.2020. Effluent samples were found within the limits prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">Decision no. 2- Cleaning of plantation area:</span></strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI';"> As per present report, the industry has properly maintained its plantation area as per the Karnal Technology. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI'; color: black;">Decision no. 3- Laying of open & visible pipeline: </span></strong><span style="font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Segoe UI';">The industry has not re-laid the visible pipeline carrying treated effluent from effluent treatment plant to plantation but the industry urged that it is not feasible to lay a visible pipeline as the plantation area is situated opposite to the main Seera Road and a visible pipeline can-not be laid over the Road.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, 'sans-serif';">W.r.t decision no. 3, the industry can make visible pipeline in both the premises, with water meter on each site in each premises to ensure that no hidden by-pass is there underneath Road. This advisory may also be added in the SCN, please.</span></p> |
