CTOW/Fresh/MOG/2022/19771727 & CTOA/Fresh/MOG/2022/19771723 dated 26.10.2022 for manufacturing of Agriculture Combine thrasher parts @ 225 kgs/day valid for a period upto 31.03.2023, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS. Details of the case are as under:-</p>

Consent to operate already deposited by the industry is adequate for a period upto 30.06.2024.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided septic tank for domestic effluent and same is being discharged into sewer after septic tank.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided common suction hood with both the rotary furnaces equipped with stack of adequate height.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed 3 no. dhols filled with aggregates <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for washing of heat treated parts.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->Caustic soda is being used for washing of heat treated parts in above said dhols.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry is using diluted HCL for neutralization process to neutralize caustic soda and sludge is being generated from said process. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Wingdings; mso-fareast-font-family: Wingdings; mso-bidi-font-family: Wingdings;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">Ø<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has not made any MOU for lifting and disposal of the same.</p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-indent: 81.0pt;">The industry is violating the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>and the Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-indent: 81.0pt;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be refused.</p>
