<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry is a large scale red category writing and printing paper manufacturing unit.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">It is found complying as per visits carried out by officers of the Board. The effluent analysis reports also confirms that it is achieving prescribed standards. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">However, in order to ascertain quality of ground water of the area in which the industry is discharging its effluent after treatment, there is need of ground water monitoring on regular basis, for which the industry is required to provide sufficient quantity of piezometers in all pockets of plantation area.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Further, the CPCB has issued guidelines for utilisation of treated effluent in irrigation in September, 2019, which are required to be adopted by the industry. Copy of these guidelines is attached for ready reference.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Hence, it is recommended that the validity of consent to operate granted to the industry under the Water Act, 1974 may be extended upto 31.03.2028 with following additional conditions:</span></p>
