<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 27.0pt; line-height: 150%;">The industry M/s Hira Lal Bajaj & Company, Bholluwala Road, Faridkot was earlier granted consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/FDK/2018/7917481 & CTOA/Renewal/FDK/2018/7917299 dated 17.07.2018 for manufacturing of Cement @ 60 TPD (only grinding process), valid upto 30.06.2023, respectively.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;">To verify the SOPs prescribed by the Board for such type of industries and to verify the compliance of provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, said industry was visited by undersigned on 17.12.2022 and it was observed as under: 1. The industry was not in operation during the visit. 2. The industry has installed 2 no. ball mills in a common processing shed equipped with common cyclone followed by bag filter house containing 30 nos. PTFE coated polyester spun bond media filters with pulse jet system as APCD. 3. The industry has paved its vehicle movement area so as to suppress the dust emissions. 4. The industry has covered storage shed provided for storage of raw materials. <strong>5. The industry has not provided plantation line along the boundary wall</strong>. As such, the industry is violating the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 27.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Thereafter, the industry was visited 06.02.2023 and samples were collected from the porthole on stack after APCD connected to the ball mills. As per sample analysis report of Board's lab, the particulate matter from the sample was found to be 15 mg/NM3, which is within the prescribed limits of the Board.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 27.0pt; line-height: 150%;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through for new name & style of M/s Hira Lal Satpaul Unit-2. Details of the case are as under:-</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has submitted CA certificate showing fixed assets of the industry of Rs. 76.36 Lakhs as on 26.06.2023. Accordingly, the industry has deposited Rs. 36,000/- vide UTR No. 32634312061DC dated 21.06.2023 and Rs. 36,000/- vide UTR No. 32634379361DC dated 21.06.2023, which is adequate for a period upto 30.06.2028.</p>

Madan Gopal Bajaj dated 27.06.2023, which is reproduced as under:-</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;">The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 27.0pt; line-height: 150%;">It is therefore, recommended that consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 for production of cement @ 60 TPD, subject to the suitable conditions please.</p>
