1-As per PPCB categorization of industries IOAGPL CGD business falls under Green category as mentioned below-

In earlier CTO grant CTOA/Fresh/PTA/2017/5946481 dtd. 06-02-2017, capital investment was shown considering City Gate Station and steel pipeline network. Factoring these two, the amount worked out to Rs. 1823.11 Lacs.
Whereas as per PPCB green category of industries, CTO is required only for city gate station and not for pipeline network emerging out of CGS. So capital investment of Rs.697 lacs is considered for CTO renewal application of CGS post deduction of downstream connectivity of network.
2-In earlier CTO grant CTOW/Fresh/PTA/2017/5050682 dtd. 06-02-2017 nil discharge was shown as the city gate station was unmanned at that time.
As of now, considering the operational requirement, round the clock security and survillaance has commenced. Apart from that the city gate station is frequently visited by IOAGPL staff, outsource staff and maintenance team for routine activities. So, water is used for domestic purposes, due to that addition of 0.5 kld of domestic effluent is shown in CTO renewal application.
