<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 130%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in 3.0pt 27.0pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">1. The Hospital shall maintain and operate its Effluent Treatment Plant-cum-Sewage Treatment Plant (ETP-cum-STP) regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the effluent standards, consistently as prescribed by the Board/MoEF&CC from time to time.</span></p>

The Hospital shall discharge its treated wastewater conforming to the prescribed standards as mentioned in Bio-Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016.</span></p>

The Hospital shall make an agreement with the operator of the common TSDF for disposal of the sludge to be generated from its ETP-cum-STP and the Used/ Spent oil of DG set and shall obtain authorization from the Board under Hazardous & Other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 3.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 130%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The hospital has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and authorization under Bio Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 for 50 beds and two dental chairs and discharge of domestic effluent @ 5.0 KLD discharge into PUDA sewer after treatment in ETP/STP and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of D.G. sets, through OCMMS. </span></p>

During visit it was observed as under:</span></p>

No BMW was found mixed with the municipal solid waste.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 130%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in 3.0pt 27.0pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">6. <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The Hospital has installed ETP cum STP at the rooftop for treatment of effluent generated from operation of HCF as well as domestic effluent and was found not in operation during the visit. The components of the ETP cum STP were found in redundant condition reflecting non-operation/improper treatment of the effluent. Further, no flow meter has been provided at the outlet of the ETP cum STP.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -27.0pt; line-height: 130%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in 3.0pt 27.0pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">7. <span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>The hospital has provided one no. silent DG set of 125 KVA, installed at the rooftop.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 130%; margin: 0in 0in 3.0pt 9.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The representative of the HCF attended the hearing informed that it has repaired the ETP-cum-STP and made it operational. Further, he assured to comply with the provisions of the various environmental laws. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
