<p>It is submitted that the industry has replied to the show cause notice issued for refusal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974, and the Air Act, 1981. In its reply, the industry has submitted that they have not operated its lab due to the noncommissioning of the technical unit and presently only concentration is checked from batches and the sample taken is poured back into the vessel. The industry further submitted to connect the small powder section with the existing powder section's duct.</p>
<p>Application may be forwarded to Zonal Office for considering the reply submitted by the industry and for grant of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for further five years with suitable terms and conditions and with the special condition that the industry shall dispose of effluent from lab along with discarded/expired pesticides to the authorized facility.</p>
