Since neither anybody attended the hearing nor any written communication was received from the industry, the CEE (P) of the Board took a serious note of it and decided directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 shall be issued as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 90.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">i)</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">That the industry will take all necessary steps to close down its operations and stop forthwith discharging any effluents/ wastewater into sewer / into storm water drain/ inland surface water/ onto land for stagnation/ irrigation or through any mode.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 90.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">ii)</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">That the industry shall stop forthwith discharging any emissions from its project or through any mode.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 90.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">iii)</span><span style="font-size: 7.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;"> </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">That the industry will immediately stop its activities and will not restart the same unless all necessary water pollution control measures are taken and it obtains consent to operate of the Board as required u/s 25/26 of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 21 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Thereafter, directions for electric disconnection was issued to PSPCL authorities u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Thereafter, the industry applied for CTO of the Board under Water Act, 1974 and the industry was visited by under-signed 08.09.2022 and contacted Sh. Deepak Kumar, Proprietor (7355700204). During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

The quantity of wastewater stored in the tank was matching with the record maintained by the industry.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Thereafter, the project proponent was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/SAS/2022/19715636 dated 20.09.2022, valid till 28.02.2023 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/SAS/2022/19714795 dated 20.09.2022, valid till 28.02.2023 for manufacturing of various items of sheet metals @300Kgs/day using sheet metal items @300Kgs/day as raw material with special condition as under:</span></p>

Ltd., Chanalon for lifting of wastewater.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">Now, the project proponent has applied renewal of Consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of various items of sheet metals @300Kgs/day using sheet metal items @300Kgs/day as raw material along with requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The project proponent has submitted CA Certificate with the value of fixed assets of Rs. 4.70 lakh on 14.07.2023, but in the CA Certificate it has included cost of rent and after inclusion of rent for 5 years the value of CA Certificate will be 14 lakhs. Earlier, the consent fee deposited by the industry under Water Act, 1974 was adequate till 31.05.2024 and under Air Act, 1981 till 31.03.2030. Now, the project proponent has deposited Rs. 3500/ - vide UTR no. BARBT23167364723 dated 16.06.2023 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 3500/- vide UTR no. BARBT23167348724 dated 16.06.2023 under Air Act, 1981. After deduction of late fees, the consent fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 is adequate till 31.08.2025 and consent fee under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 is adequate till 31.07.2031.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The project proponent has submitted agreement with Bantech Water Pvt. Ltd., Channalon for lifting of effluent @ 4 KL/Month. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Cambria',serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; color: black; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The project proponent has submitted compliance report of the previous consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 granted to it.</span></p>

The raw material is then electroplated and the acid dip is performed as pretreatment. The effluent generated from the acid dip and zinc plating is collected in a tank from where it is lifted to CETP operator.</span></p>

The quantity of wastewater stored in the tank was matching with the record maintained by the industry.</span></p>
