CTOA/Fresh/HSP/2023/20971544 dated 01.02.2023 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/NWS/2020/12790665 dated 01.02.2023 valid upto 30.09.2023 with conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-right: 1.35pt; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has applied for consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, earlier granted consents. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has deposited Rs. 9000/- vide UTR No. SBIN423194774286 dated 13.07.2023, Rs. 9500/- vide UTR No.<br />SBIN423194772480 dated 13.07.2023. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has submitted CA Certificate, earlier granted consent compliance. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> Keeping in view of the above, May if approved, consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30.09.2028 to the brick kiln under orange category subject to the suitable conditions along with following special conditions that:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">a. The consent is subject to the orders passed by the Hon’ble High Court for the States of Punjab & Haryana / Hon’ble National Green Tribunal or other Judicial Authority in the cases pending or being filed with regard to the subject matter of the office order.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">b. The consent is subject to the performance evaluation of new technology adopted by the brick kilns.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">c. The kiln owner will ensure the implementation of recommended operating practices as per the Feasibility Report.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">d. The brick kiln will pave the movement area around kiln with Bricks and provide the sampling arrangements before the coming season.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">e. The brick kiln shall not use of pet coke as fuel in its brick kiln.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">f. The BKO will comply with the directions u/s 18 (1) (b) of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 issued by CPCB.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">g. The BKO shall submit analysis report of Air emission during the coming season.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> h. The BKO shall provide proper green belt in coming monsoon season.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">i. The brick kiln will plant adequate trees around the boundary of the Brick Kiln.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">j. The brick kiln shall comply all the guidelines issued by Punjab Pollution Control Board/CPCB.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: #5d5d5d; mso-bidi-language: PA;">k. The brick kiln shall comply with the directions u/s 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 vide letter no. 10/574/2022-STE1/443 dated 04.11.2022 regarding replacement of 20% coal with paddy straw pallets as fuel.</span></p>
