During the hearing following decisions were taken:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall comply with the directions of CPCB and submit point wise compliance of the same in annotated form, within 15 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall submit a bank guarantee of Rs. 2 Lac in lieu of EC amounting of Rs. 2 Lac, within 07 days till the final decision of the representation of SPV as an assurance that in case the decision will not be in their favour, then same could be en-cash by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall take adequate steps to bring down the concentration of various parameters at their outlet conforming to the DPR design parameters, so that CETP functioning may not be effected due to higher inlet parameters. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall install online meters with the intake supply having connectivity to SCADA with the CETP, within one month. Till the installation of online meters, the industry shall must have EMF or mechanical meter at intake supply for which record is to be maintained on day to day basis. Regional Office-3, Ludhiana shall compare such record with effluent discharge.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In compliance of the above said decisions the industry has submitted the bank guarantee of Rs, 2.0 lac in lieu of EC amounting of Rs. 2 Lac. The industry has also obtained permission from CGWA after installing EMF at its all 03 submersibles. And submitted the compliance of directions issued by the CPCB (copy enclosed). Further the industry has created baffles for the zig zag movement of untreated effluent in its equalization tank to reduce the temperature of waste water and also installed a mechanical rotating screen to separate out the floating puff from the effluent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for the period of one year with usual conditions.</span></p> |
