<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/PTA/2018/8746800 dated 14/12/2018 having validity upto 30/06/2023 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/PTA/2018/8746445 dated 14/12/2018 having validity upto 30/06/2023 for manufacturing of Telescopic/ Drawer @ 4000 Numbers/Day by using C.R. Strips @ 5.0 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material under red category subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Telescopic/ Drawer @ 4000 Numbers/Day by using C.R. Strips @ 5.0 Metric Tonnes/Day as raw material under red category along-with requisite documents i.e. application form, CA certificate, compliance report of conditions of consents, agreement with JBR, request letter etc. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">The industry has deposited Rs. 180000/- vide UTR. No. N174232515310759 dated 23.06.2023 on account of consent fee under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 180000/- vide UTR. No. N174232515310747 dated 23.06.2023 on account of consent fee under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 against the fixed assets of Rs. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>1027.09 lakh, which is adequate 30.06.2028. The industry has also deposited Rs. 14400/- vide UTR No. N174232515310759 dated 23.06.2023 as NOC regularization fee, which is adequate. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">The industry was visited by the Asstt. Environmental Engineer of this office on 21.07.2023. During visit, it was observed as under: </span></p>

During visit, around 17-19 KL of wastewater was found stored in the said tanks. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">The industry is complying with the conditions of the consents granted under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; background: white;">In view of above, may if approved, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 under orange category with suitable conditions.</span></p> |
