<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">It is submitted that the project proponent was given personal hearing before the Senior Environmental Engineer (ZP-1) of the Board on 18.07.2023, wherein, it was decided as under:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The consent applications pending with the Board online shall be returned to the project proponent with the condition that it shall resubmit the applications within 15-days as per actual occupancy/ sale of project and developing adequate plantation area to utilize the treated wastewater onto land for plantation.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The Environmental Engineer, Regional office, SAS Nagar shall process the consent application to be applied by the project proponent on merits after verifying the facts at the site.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->It was made clear to the project proponent that if he fails to resubmit the applications after 15- days action as deemed fit shall be initiated against the project proponent under the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 without giving any further notice/ opportunity.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;">Further, as per decision no. 1 of the personal hearing, the application submitted by the project proponent is required to be returned. It is therefore, requested return the application please.</p> |
