<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the industry was served show cause notice before refusal of the renewal of CTOs granted to it with an opportunity to reply within 10 days due to the violations mentioned in the said notice issued vide no. 4917 dated 14/07/2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Further, Regional office was also requested to comment on the reply to be submitted by the industry and send fresh recommendations accordingly. </p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Now. Regional Office intimated that the industry has failed to reply the said show cause notice in stipulated time period which shows that the industry is not serious to comply with the Environmental Norms. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As such, in view of the recommendations of EE RO Patiala, the renewal applied by the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be refused, please. </p>
