<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry is a small scale red category unit & was granted consent under Water Act, 1974 upto 21.07.2023 for the manufacturing of Washing, bleaching, Dyeing & Printing @ 12 T/day. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Earlier orders for sealing of boiler installed by industries were issued by the Competent Authority of the Board and in compliance boiler of the industry was sealed. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Thereafter, as per the orders of the Competent Authority the industry was re-visited on 25.06.2023. and boiler was de-sealed in compliance to the order of the Board</span></p>

<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry has connected its trade effluent to CETP 40 MLD for discharge of trade Effluent @ 985.0 KLD and Domestic Effluent @ 15.0 KLD. The industry has CETP shares of 1 MLD and has provided water meter on CETP line to note down effluent discharge by the industry</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">The industry has mentioned ground water extraction will be 27775 KL/month, which is more than exempted quantity. The industry has already applied on 30.06.2023 for obtaining permission for ground water extraction from PWRDA and same is under process.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry is located in the designated Industrial Focal Point of Ludhiana.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Deposited consent fee is adequate upto 30.06.2027</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; tab-stops: 70.9pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">In view of report by Regional Office, if approved, consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to industry upto 30.06.2027 with special conditions that:</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">1. The industry shall submit the permission obtained from CGWA for abstraction of ground water within 3 months.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">2. The industry is bound to comply with the consent conditions granted to the CETP of 40 MLD, whichever applicable to unit, from time to time.</span></p>
