CTE/Fresh/SAS/2022/18897161 dated 20/06/2022 valid upto 01/06/2023 for business of Rice @ 4TPH & Rice Husk @ 31.68T/day, Rice Bran @ 5.04T/day by using Paddy @ 6TPH as raw material, subject to certain conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 business of Rice @ 4TPH & Rice Husk @ 31.68T/day, Rice Bran @ 5.04T/day by using Paddy @ 6TPH as raw material, alongwith requisite documents and fee. The industry has submitted CA certificate mentioning the cost of the fixed asset of Rs. 155.32 lakh as on 30.06.2023. The industry has deposited Rs. 47900/- vide online UTR no. 000973334896 dated 14/07/2023 under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 42000/- vide online UTR no. 000973337335 dated 14/07/2023 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.05.2028, under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted got approved by Er. Jasvir Singh, Competent person of Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has submitted classification of land use approved by DTP, SAS Nagar vide Memo no. 821 dated 10.05.2022, where it has mentioned that:</span></p>

The height of wall is about 10 feet in front of the discharge point and provisions have been made to provide wind shield of 5 feet height above this wall.</span></p>

The domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt .75in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The rice Sheller is complying with the conditions of NOC/CTE granted to it and guidelines/ code of practice for rice sheller units issued by the Govt. of Punjab vide its notification Endst. No. 10/48/2004/STE (4)/4077 dt.13.9.2006, amended vide no. 10/48/2004 (4)/931 dated 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 with suitable conditions and additional condition that:</span></p>

No. 10/48/2004/STE (4)/4077 dt.13.9.2006, amended vide no. 10/48/2004 (4)/931 dated 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 76.05pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall carry out more plantation along its boundary wall, within 03 months and shall intimate the Board regarding the same within 15 days thereafter.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 76.05pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall ensure that the activities of unit does not create any nuisance in the surrounding areas and no public complaints are received.</span></p>

The Board would be at liberty to take penal action against the industry and its responsible/ concerned person(s) in case information/document is detected as incorrect/false/misleading at any point of time.</span></p>
