<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.3pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">It is submitted that Project Proponent has applied for development of residential colony namely Ekta Vihar (Developed by Ekta Real Estate Developers), Village Khai, Hadbasat No. 65, Tehsil Lehra, District Sangrur, in an area of 12.35 acres.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; margin: .05pt 3.9pt .0001pt .2pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The project proponent has already obtained change of land use for Residential plotted colony in an area of 52046.30 mtr from the Department of Local Government, Punjab vide letter memo no. PB/CLU/SAG/LEHRA/3010 dated 01/02/2023. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.3pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The project proponent has already obtained license for setting up of Residential plotted colony in an area of 12.35 acre from Local Govt., Chandigarh vide letter memo no. No. SGR-UD-LOI-2023/538 dated 17/04/2023. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.3pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The project proponent has deposited 18,000/- deposited through online vide UTR no. 25451410 dated. 26.06.2023. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.3pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The Project Proponent has submitted proposed layout plan of residential colony. The project proponent has submitted feasibility report from M/s M/s TerraSyn Initiatives SCF – 29, S.S.T. Nagar, Rajpura Road, Patiala – 147001 w.r.t. installation of STP of capacity 220 KLD consisting of graded screen, collection sump, detritor, aeration tank (2-stage MBBR), secondary clarifier, multi-grade pressure depth filter, UV treatment, sludge dewatering. The project proponent has proposed to partially utilize treated domestic effluent onto land for plantation/ green area and partially disposed off into MC,Sewer. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.3pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">It is pertinent to mention here that there will be 123 no. of houses in the colony considering 1800 no of population and per capita demand @ 135 Ltr/person total waste water generation will be 220 KLD approx.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 42.3pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly; margin: 0in 4.5pt .0001pt 5.6pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">The proposed site of the colony has been visited by the AEE of this office on 27/07/2023. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

No brick/cement plant/ cement grinding units and No hot mix plant falls within the radius of 300 mtr and no air polluting is located within a radius of 100 mtrs from the boundary of residential colony from the proposed site of colony.</span></p>

Further, it has also proposed to sold out recyclable waste to authorized recycling units and other waste will be get lifted through MC, Lehragaga.</span></p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 4.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 47.9pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Thus, the site of proposed colony is suitable as per Board’s circular no. EE(Mega)/ Gen/419/2009/4426-49 dated 05.09.2009.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: 4.5pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 47.9pt; line-height: 12.5pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">From the above, it is clear that the industry is meeting with the general guidelines prescribed by the Board for the establishment of an industrial unit as per the policy of the Board. The competency for grant of NOC to such units lies with the Senior Environmental Engineer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: Cambria; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">In view of the above, it is recommended that the project proponent may be granted NOC from pollution for setting of residential colony having 123 residential in area of 12.35 acres with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p> |
