<p>Sir, the industry has installed cooling towers for cooling of oil after quenching process. The cooling water is approx 0.8 KLD which is recirculated as already detailed in application form . Heat exchangers are provided inside the pit where oil quenching is carried out in which the water is recirculated with the help of a rotary pump in the cooling tower. This is a standard mechanism for all oil quenching operations and does not contribute to any polluting load. Submitted please</p> |
