<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of 'consent to operate' under the Water Act, 1974.</span></p>

The industry has connected its effluent discharge to CETP, Focal Point, Ludhiana line. The industry was found discharging its trade effluent into CETP, Focal Point Line during visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has submitted copy of request letter to Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana for disconnection of its sewer connection.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has already applied for obtaining PWRDA permission for ground water extraction.</span></p>
