CTOW/Fresh/MLK/2022/18294701 dated 20/04/2022 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/MLK/2022/18294744 dated 23/04/2022 both valid upto 30/09/2023 for manufacturing of Raw Rice (without sortex machinery and without dryer) @2.0 TPH by processing of Paddy @ 3.0 TPH, as raw material under orange category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.8pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Earlier, the CTO was refused due to the reason that the industry has not installed APCD on its dryer, not provided soakage pit and no jail was provided on the wall in port of septic discharge point.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.8pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Now, the industry has again applied for obtaining fresh consents under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981 for manufacturing of Sorted Raw Rice (with dryer) @ 2.0 TPH by processing of Paddy @ 3.0 TPH, as raw material.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.8pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The rice sheller has deposited Rs. 61,600/- vide R. No. 551117378 dated 13/07/2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 65,000/- (Rs. 61,600/- consent fee + Rs. 2900/- NOC fee + Rs. 500/- application fee) vide R. No. 415015628 dated 13/07/2023 under the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2030 under both Acts.. The industry has submitted the CA certificated for the value of fixed assets Rs. 122.19 Lacs as on 01.07.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.8pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The rice sheller has submitted limit certificate issued by Executive Officer, MC, Malerkotla vide no. 87/Building dated 10/04/2023 as per which the M/s Garg Rice Mills (Previously Known as Hathan Agro Industries), outside the MC limits of Malerkotla. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.8pt; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-bidi-language: PA;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate granted under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be granted upto <span style="color: black;">30/09/2030</span> for manufacturing of Sorted Raw Rice (with dryer) @ 2.0 TPH by processing of Paddy @ 3.0 TPH, as raw material under orange category, subject to certain conditions to be mentioned therein and a special condition that the industry will got analyzed its stack emission sample from Board’s lab or Board’s approved lab in coming season.</span></p>
