<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"> It is submitted that the industry is a small scale orange category and earlier it was granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 vide nos. CTOW/Renewal/FZR/2020/12124073 and CTOA/Renewal/FZR/2020/12124014 dated 25/04/2020, valid upto 30/09/2023 each for the production of Stone Ware Pipes @ 30 TPD by using Fire clay @ 27 TPD and Grog @ 3 TPD as raw material, under Orange category, subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein<span style="mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"> Now the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 under Orange category with same capacity<span style="mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"> The industry has submitted year-wise CA certificate dated 11.09.2023 regarding value of gross fixed assets of the industry from as on dated 01.04.2019 to as on dated 31.08.2023 of amounting Rs. 138.14 lakhs. The industry has already deposited consent to operate fees, which was adequate upto 31.12.2023 against Rs. 137.81 lacs and now the industry has deposited Rs. 39,900/- each vide Receipt no. 71881100 and 276281551 dated 12.09.2023 as consent to operate fee under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, respectively against Rs. 138.14 lakhs, to make it adequate upto 30.09.2028 under both Acts. The industry has also deposited Rs. 700/- vide Receipt no. 276281551 dated 12.09.2023 as NOC Regularization Fee, which is adequate.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"> To process the case, the industry was visited by this office on 16.09.2023 and it was observed as under:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry was not in operation for any activity and as per onsite circumstances, it can be concluded that the industry has not been operate since long. The representative of the industry during visit informed that due to market conditions, the industry has become non-operational since 2019.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has installed double stage alkali scrubber as APCD with its tunnel kiln/dryer to contain the process emissions and the same was in line.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided stack of adequate height with the APCD along with provision to facilitate emission sampling.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided bag filter as APCD in raw material handing and processing section (mixing of earth with broken ceramic products.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided 02 no. D.G. sets of capacity 180 KVA & 125 KVA with canopy.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has planted trees along its boundary wall.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry has provided septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent with provision to discharge onto land for irrigation.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in 0in 10.0pt .25in;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]-->The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"> Keeping i<span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">n view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate </span>under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30.09.2028 for production of Stone Ware Pipes @ 30 TPD by using Fire clay @ 27 TPD and Grog @ 3 TPD as raw material, under Orange category, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board, please.</p> |
