<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal ‘Consent to Operate’ under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 13.09.2023 and observed as under:</span></p>

But, the industry failed to provide APCD with extruders.</span></p>

The representative could not give any satisfactory reply in this regard.</span></p>

No agreement for this waste has been made, nor any storage facility provided for said waste.</span></p>

D.G. set which was found without canopy.</span></p>

<p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36pt; line-height: 115%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">RO has recommended that Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be refused. </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 115%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">In view of the above, it is recommended that show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be issued to industry with hearing at ZO level, please.</span></p>
