<p class="MsoNormal">As per the note of Regional Office, the industry was earlier operating on the name of M/s Lal Kila Screening plant which has commissioned without CTE/CTO of the Board. Accordingly, directions u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 33-A of the Air Act, 1981 were confirmed against the unit on 29.01.2020. Now, Sh. Manjit Singh proprietor has purchased the unit and has applied for consents in the name and style of Akal Stone Crusher and Screening plant. Further, Regional Office confirmed that the site is complying with the siting criteria / suitability as well as COP for such units.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In view of above, it is recommended as under:</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>1.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Directions issued by the Board u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 33-A of the Air Act, 1981 in the name and style of M/s Lal Kila Screening Plant be dropped.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>2.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Roopnagar <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>may be allowed to grant the 'consent to operate' to the industry in the name and style of M/s Akal Stone Crusher and Screening Plant, upto 30.09.2024 with the usual Conditions as per policy of the Board.</p>
