<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;">It is submitted that the industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) of the Board for establishment of hot mix plant unit, for manufacturing Bitumen Coated Stone Aggregate, I.E. Bitumen Concrete (BC) and Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) @ 700 TPD under orange category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The project promoter has taken land on lease from M/s Savera Beverages Private Limited, village Hiranwali, Tehsil & District Fazilka for establishment of hot mix plant and Ready mix concrete plant.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">It is pertinent to mention here that M/s Savera Beverages has already obtained change of land use (CLU) from Housing & Urban Development Deptt. vide ref. no. PBIP/LORC1/1802972182 for the above site for industrial purpose (100 KLD Grain Based Distillery and 5 MW Co-generation Power Plant) and it has been mentioned in the CLU that <em>“As per the approval granted by the Govt. dated 29.08.2018, the change of land use permission is being issued for the said purpose by the Competent Authority Project approval. Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion on the basis of detail of land submitted by the applicant and duly verified by Circular Revenue Officer.” </em>It has been further mentioned in the CLU report that the applicant shall not bifurcate the site and shall develop the site as single unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">M/s Savera Beverages Private Limited, village Hiranwali, Tehsil & District Fazilka has also obtained Environment Clearance as well as Consent to establish of the Board for establishment of grain based distillery to produce ENS/Alcohal at the above mentioned site, valid for a period upto 06.09.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Therefore as per conditions of Punjab Housing and Urban Development Department, no other project (Hot Mix Plant/ RMC) can be established at the land area of M/s Savera Beverages.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1in; line-height: 24px; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 24px; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">If approved, the case may be refused with advice to Project Proponent not to carry out any construction activity at this site, please.</span></p>
