<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall obtain permission from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for the abstraction of ground water and submit the same at Regional Office, Fatehgarh Sahib within 01 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall not carry out any activity which covers under orange/red as per the revised categorization of the industries by CPCB.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall install STP for the treatment of domestic effluent efficiently within three months and apply fresh consent to operate under Water Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry will not generate and discharge any trade effluent without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">5.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall obtain shall necessary permissions from other departments/ authorities as required.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">6.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall plant trees wherever space is available inside and outside the unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">7.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall not undertake expansion without obtaining approval from the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">8.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, throughtheir Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">9.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles /water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or anyother non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in; line-height: 24px;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">10.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p>
