<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 115%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry was granted consent under Air Act, 1981 valid upto 30.06.2023 for operation of </span>Thermax Boiler and D. G se<span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">t.</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 115%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 115%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by officer of the Board on 13.09.2023 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>

For the purpose of formulation, the industry has installed 9 mixers and agitators have been providing for mixing of chemicals /solvent. One packaging and bottling line has been installed for filling of product in the bottles.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0cm; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">There is no source of air pollution, except DG set of 200 KVA, which is equipped with canopy and stack of adequate height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">The industry has applied authorization under Hazardous Wastes (Management Handling & Trans-boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 which is in process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">As per DTP Ludhiana letter no. 3220 dated 15.10.2012, the site of the industry falls in industrial zone, as per Master plan Ludhiana (2007-21).</span></p>
<p style="margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; line-height: 115%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Deposited consent fee is adequate upto 30.06.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 36.0pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 with special condition that the industry shall not discharge any air emission except D.G set without permission of the Board.</span></p>
