The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH2/2020/13188195 dated 01/09/2020 expired on 30/09/2023 & under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH2/2020/13188195 dated 01/09/2020 expired on 30/09/2023 subject to the certain conditions mentioned therein. This consent is valid for manufacturing of Machine Tools Components @ 2750 Kgs/day. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents and for same production capacity. The industry has deposited Rs. 20900/- vide UTR No. 992757336 dated 20.09.2023 (Rs. 19800/- water & Rs. 1100/- as NOC regularization fee), Rs. 19800/- vide UTR No. 946054794 dated 20.09.2023 under Air Act, 1981 against the fixed assets of Rs. 57.33 Lacs which is adequate upto 30.09.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>As per the application form the industry is engaged in manufacturing of Machine Tools Components by using PIG IRON, C.I SCRAP AND C.I BOORA. The industry has installed one induction furnace of capacity 300 kg/heat attached with bag filter house with adequate stack. The industry has already submitted the completion certificate from PSCST vide no. 1313 dated 21.07.2020. The industry has installed one shot blast machines attached with inbuilt bag house as APCD with adequate stack height. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 25 KVA, which is with canopy. The industry has submitted the certificate issued by DTP, Ludhiana vide no. 1267 dated 01.07.2020 stating that the site of the industry falls in industrial zone as per Master Plan, Ludhiana (2007-31). Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer. There is no change in production capacity/pollution load as per application form.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>And, as per circular no. CEE (HQ)/F.No./957/2016/59 dated 02.02.2016, the case for renewal of NOC/Consent to operate for Orange & Green category industries is to be processed based on self-certification submitted by the industry to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, as such, the project covers under Orange category.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2028 with usual conditions, please. </span></span></p>
