<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has reported that the project proponent has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The project proponent has submitted Partnership Deed (comprising Abhinav Garg & Abhishek Garg), CA Certificate, Site Plan/Location Plan, Lease Deed, Form-C-cum-License No. 12123002000183 issued by Department of Food Safety (FSSI), Drawing of Oil & Grease Trap, Form A & C (Registration of Firms), Undertaking regarding seating capacity of Restaurant and Request Letter.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> The site of the proposed project was visited by officer of this office on 22/09/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">1. </span><span lang="EN-US">The site is located in Ranjit Avenue Market, above McDonald’s Restaurant.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">2. </span><span lang="EN-US">The unit is a Restaurant having seating capacity less than 35 numbers.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">3. </span><span lang="EN-US">The project proponent falls within the Municipal Limits of Amritsar.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">4. </span><span lang="EN-US">The project proponent has constructed Oil & Grease Trap for the domestic effluent being arise from the premises and the discharge of the same is into public sewer connected to the terminal end of the STP installed by Municipal Corporation, Amritsar.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">5. </span><span lang="EN-US">The project proponent has installed DG sets of capacity 200 KVA & 250 KVA, which are provided with acoustic enclosure.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> It is further intimated that the unit is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has recommended that </span>the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent up to 30/09/2028 with suitable terms & conditions along with special condition that the unit at any stage will not generate any emission and effluent from its premises.</p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent up to 30/09/2028 with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions as under:-</span></p>
<p><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall use approved / authorized fuel only with preference to cleaner fuels.</p>
<p><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall properly channelize the fugitive emissions including emissions from cooking & kitchen operations by providing proper ducting / hood arrangement and proper exhaust system.</p>
<p><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall adopt energy conservation measures by providing solar system, LED bulbs & inverters etc.</p>
<p><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules 2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</p>
<p><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The Project Proponent shall develop the vermi-composting/composting to manage the bio-degradable solid wastes.</p>
<p><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. The project proponent shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic - thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches / water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises.</p>
<p>7. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent shall make all necessary arrangements for compliance of Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000 & shall obtain required necessary permissions from designated authorities for operation of DJ etc as per provisions of noise pollution (Regulation & Control) Rules, 2000.</p>
