The industry was earlier granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH2/2018/8551024 dated 15/10/2018 expired on 30/06/2023 subject to the certain conditions mentioned therein. This consent is valid for manufacturing of M. S. BAR @ 2 Metric Tonnes/Day. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 alongwith requisite documents and for same production capacity. The industry has deposited Rs. 7140/- vide UTR No. 732340331 dated 19.09.2023 under Water Act, 1974 against the fixed assets of Rs. 8.73 Lacs which is adequate upto 30.06.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>As per the application form the industry is engaged in manufacturing of M.S. Bar by using M. S. ROUND. The industry has signed agreement with M/s JBR Technology Pvt. Ltd. Unit-2, Vill Mangarh, Kohara, Ludhiana @1000 Ltr/M for the treatment & disposal of trade effluent generated from pickling process. Domestic effluent is being discharged into sewer.<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">And, as per circular no. 329 dated 14.09.2023, ‘the Board has decided to facilitate the entrepreneurs with “Auto generation of renewal of consent to establish/operate/authorization of any category of Small scale industries/projects/Health care Facilities (upto 50 beds) and Hazardous Waste generation industries” on the basis of self-declaration by these entrepreneurs and shall be without any inspection/ physical verification by the officers of the PPCB.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry is small scale red category unit and has submitted self-declaration in the prescribed Performa which is enclosed alongwith<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2028 please. </span></p> |
