<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">It is submitted that the industry was earlier granted authorization under Plastic Waste Management Rules, 2016 as recycler vide no. RO/PTA/Plastic/2013/F-32 dated 30.10.2019, valid upto 30.09.2021. The industry has not applied Plastic Waste registration till date. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">In view of above, may if approved, recommendations be sent to SEE, ZO-1, Patiala for renewal consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.09.2028 subject to suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board and the following special conditions:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 1.0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: -1.0cm; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities. </span></p>
