Earlier, the workshop was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH4/2021/13840012 dated 09.02.202 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH4/2020/11723494 dated 18.02.2020, both are valid up to 30.09.2023. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; background: white;">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of CTO under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 along with requisite documents. The industry has deposited </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Rs. 165600 as air consent fee vide UTR No. BKIDY23248700017 dated 05.09.2023 and Rs. 194000 vide UTR no. BKIDY23248699983 dated 05.09.2023, out of which Rs. 165600 as water consent fee, Rs. 27900 as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 500 as application form fee against the CA certificate of Rs. 2949.51 Lacs, which is adequate up to 30.09.2028. The industry has also submitted detail of increased assets and a submission that there is no increase in pollution load due to increased assets. The industry has also submitted copy of CLU issued for the site on the name of M/s Chadha Super Cars for setting up an industry (service center and workshop) from the Chief Town Planner, Punjab vide memo no. 8282 CTP(Pb) SP-432(L) dated 01.12.2010. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext; background: white;">The site was visited by the undersigned on 19.09.2023 and observed as under: -</span></p>

During visit, the water meter reading provided at the outlet of ETP was observed as 10689 KL and reading of water meter provided at the outlet of STP was observed as 1590 KL. As per record, the average generation of the effluent is 9.8 KLD. </span></p>

Reading of the same was 4067.6 KWH and 26711 KWH respectively.</span></p>

The industry has provided adequate plantation area as well as lawn for utilization of treated effluent. </span></p>
