Which seems in order. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In view of facts mentioned by AEE in her note, it is recommended that the fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted upto 31.12.2023 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2025 for manufacturing Oxygen and Liquid Medical Oxygen @ 142 T/day, Liquid Nitrogen @ 30 T/day and Liquid Argon @ 6 T/day with suitable conditions and following special conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">1. The industry shall obtain permission from the Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) for the abstraction of ground water and submit the same at Regional Office, Fatehgarh Sahib within 01 month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">2. The industry shall not carry out any activity which covers under orange/red as per the revised categorization of the industries by CPCB.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">3. The industry will not generate and discharge any trade effluent without obtaining prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">4. The industry shall obtain shall necessary permissions from other departments/ authorities as required.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;"> 5. The industry shall plant trees wherever space is available inside and outside the unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">6. The industry shall not undertake expansion without obtaining approval from the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;"> 7. The industry shall promote use of alternatives of single use plastics (SUP) and awareness to discourage use of plastic, through their Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) activities.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">8. The industry shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles /water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocol or anyother non-biodegradable material in the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">9.. The industry shall properly handle and manage the solid wastages as per the provisions of the Municipal Solid Waste Rules2016 and ensure that the solid waste is segregated & disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">10. The industry shall ensure that there is no public nuisance in the area, due to activities of the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .25in 1.0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; color: black; mso-color-alt: windowtext;">11. The industry will make ensure that the concentration of TDS from the boiler blow down water should not exceed the prescribed limit of 2100 mg/l. In case, the concentration of TDS increases the prescribed standard, then the industry will bound to install adequate treatment system to contain the concentration of various pollutants within the prescribed standards.</span></p>
