<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">Accordingly, as per the HO notification no. 688 dated 02.03.2017 has notified the fee for obtaining consent fees under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 which is to be paid by the applicant at the time of submitting the application for obtaining consents.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><strong><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The hospital has already got its waste water samples tested from the SIMA LAB Ludhiana and parameters are within permissible limits (Copy Enclosed). The HCF is connected with mc sewer and terminal STP, Patiala.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><em><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide office order no. 329 dated 14.09.2023 in suppression of Board’s office order no. 443 dated 09.08.2021<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>has decided to facilitate the entrepreneurs with auto generated of renewal of consent to establish/ operate /authorization of any category of small scale industries<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>/ projects / Health Care Facilities (upto 50 beds) and hazardous waste generating industries on the basis of self-declaration by these entrepreneurs and shall be without any inspection / physical verification by the officers of the PPCB. </span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">Keeping in view of above, if approved, the HCF may be granted authorization under Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 <strong>for 30.09.2028 with</strong> suitable conditions and with special conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">1. The hospital shall segregate the bio-medical waste as per Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 notified by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change vide notification dated 28.03.2016 as amended from time to time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">2. The hospital shall also comply with the Bio-Medical Waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2016 as amended from time to time, all the times in true letter and sprits.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">3. The hospital shall conform to the effluent standards laid down in Schedule-VI of the Environment (Protection) Rules 1986.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">4. The Hospital shall make an agreement with the authorized recycler for selling the Used/ Spent oil generated from servicing of its DG set and shall obtain authorization from the Board under Hazardous & Other Waste (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">5. The hospital shall not generate & discharge any kind of liquid waste containing nuclear medicine till the proper pollution control measures as approved by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board are installed and commissioned. Detailed agenda note attached below for perusal please.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt;">6. The HCF will comply with effluent standards as per Bio medical Waste Management Rules, 2016.</span></p>
