Hakam Singh Sidhu, Partner <span style="background: white;">of the industry submitted written reply to the show cause notice issued to it, which has been taken on record. He further stated that the industry is presently executing only processing of chilling milk @ 1 KLD due to market constrains as such the generation of wastewater is very less. The effluent is generated only from the washing of milk collection tank, which is thereafter treated in the oil & grease trap followed by septic tank and the same is discharged onto land for plantation within the premises / own land. It is assured that ETP of adequate capacity will be installed well before the commissioning of the industry at its full capacity. He also stated that the industry shall not produce other products except milk chilling / packing without providing adequate Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).</span></span></p>

He further assured that ETP of adequate capacity will be installed well before the commissioning of the industry at its full capacity and it will not produce other products except milk chilling / packing without providing adequate Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">It has been further reported that </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Verdana',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-font-kerning: 0pt; mso-ligatures: none; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry for chilling of milk @ 1 KLD for a period upto 30.06.2024, subject to suitable conditions and specific as under :-</span></p>
