<p><span lang="EN-US">RO has reported that the above industry is a Service Station (Jawa Bikes) established and commissioned without obtaining NOC/Consents of the Board and falls under Orange Category of the categorization of the industries.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of Service Station.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> The industry has deposited Rs. 43,200/- vide UTR No. N236232608554012 dated 24/08/2023 & Rs. 40,100/- vide UTR No. N236232608552167 dated 24/08/2023 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30/09/2028 including Rs. 3600/- as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 500/- as Form downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth </span>Rs. 57,28,000/- as on 31.08.2023. <span lang="EN-US">The project proponent has submitted documents, which are enclosed along with the application, which may kindly be perused. The industry has submitted Udyam registration certificate, according to which the Service Station is running since August-2021. The service station has attached approved Building Plan from the MC, Pathankot. The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 06/10/2023 and observed as under:-</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">1. </span><span lang="EN-US">The industry was in operation during the visit and is engaged in the process of sale, service & repair of four wheelers.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">2. </span><span lang="EN-US">The service station is not having any washing process in the premises and only servicing is done. The service station informed that the washing of the vehicles is done through other service station.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">3. </span><span lang="EN-US">There is no painting process in the service station.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">4. </span><span lang="EN-US">The domestic effluent of the service station is being discharged into MC Sewer.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US">5. </span><span lang="EN-US">The service station generates used oil, spent oil which is transported to authorized recycler (M/s J.K. Trading Company and the industry has made agreement with the same. The service station has been advised to obtain authorization under HWM Rules, 2016 also.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> </span> <span lang="EN-US"> RO has recommended that </span>Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2028 with the suitable conditions along with the special conditions that:-</p>
<p>1. The service station shall obtain authorization under HWM Rules, 2016 for the relevant categories of HW.</p>
<p>2. <span lang="EN-US">The service station shall not start any washing process in the premises without obtaining permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p><span lang="EN-US"> </span>In view of above, it is recommended that the Consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2028 with the suitable conditions along with the special conditions that:-</p>
<p>1. The service station shall obtain authorization under HWM Rules, 2016 for the relevant categories of HW.</p>
<p>2. <span lang="EN-US">The service station shall not start any washing process in the premises without obtaining prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
