<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is submitted that earlier, the industry was in operation in the name & style of Luxmi Metal Industries. The industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 20.11.2019 and it was observed that the industry was not complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. Accordingly, the SCN u/s 33-A of the Water Act, 1974 and u/s 31-A of the Air Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Thereafter, the personal hearing was given before CEE of the Board on 20.01.2020, where, it was decided that: -</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">1. The industry shall persue the matter with the Deptt. of the Town & Country Planning w.r.t. issuance of CLU and thereafter shall submit the same within 15 days, positively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">2. EE, RO, Sangrur shall submit the recommendations after the submission of CLU by the industry and application for consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 will be decided on merits, thereafter.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Thereafter, the above said firm became NPA and new firm namely M/s Pooja Steel Industries has got its existance to operate its business in the same land and accordingly has applied for fresh CTOs under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. As such, no action is pending against the unit. </span></p>
