CTOW/Renewal/LDH4/2021/16997501 dated 27.10.2021, which is valid up to 30.09.2023 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH4/2021/16997505 dated 26.10.2021, which is valid up to 30.09.2023 with special conditions mentioned therein production of Rice @ 1.34TPH (with dryer).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: 6.0pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">Now the rice sheller has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has deposited Rs. 29000/- vide R No. N267211648147517 dated 24.09.2021, out of which Rs. 14500/- under Air Act, 1981, and Rs. 14500 as water consent fee. Thus, the Consent fee is adequate up to 30.06.2028 under the both acts against the C.A certificate as Rs. 49.45/- lacs. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">It is pertinent to mention here that the rice sheller falls in residential zone as per Master Plan of Ludhiana. The Department of Housing and Urban Development vide its notification no. 08/05/2023-441/2208 dated 06.10.2023 has allowed the existing industries lying in residential zone (within & outside MC) of Master Plan, Ludhiana for further 03 years i.e. from 11.09.2023 to 10.09.2026. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">It is pertinent to mentioned here that the Board has issued order vide no. CEE(HQ)F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 to auto renewal of consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries. Further, no action is pending against the industry as per record file. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Keeping in view of above mentioned facts, it is, therefore, recommended that renewal of consent to operate under the Water </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">(Prevention & Control of Pollution) </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Act, 1974 and the Air </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black; background: white; mso-bidi-language: PA;">(Prevention & Control of Pollution) </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;">Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 10.09.2026 with suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board and special conditions that: -</span></p>
