CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2022/16964781 dated 18/01/2022 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2022/16964747 dated 18/01/2022, both having validity upto 30/09/2023 for manufacturing of FERROUS SULPHATE @ 5 T/day and using raw material as FERROUS ASH(85% fe) @ 1 MT/Day and SULPHURIC ACID (98%) @ 1 MT/Day subject to the suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 78.0pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 6.0pt 5.9pt 12.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of 'Consent to Operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 alongwith requisite documents and consent fee.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 6.0pt 5.9pt 12.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted the CA certificate wherein the value of fixed assets of the industry as on 31.03.2023 is of Rs. 74.50 lakhs with the value of plant and machinery as of Rs. 35.00 lakhs. </span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 6.0pt 5.9pt 12.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has deposited consent to operate fee Rs. 27500.00 vide UTR no. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>AXSK232690000829 dated 26.09.2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 27500.00 vide UTR no. AXSK232690000865 dated 26.09.2023 under the Air Act, 1981. As such the fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2028.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 6.0pt 5.9pt 12.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has also submitted the stack emission sampling report analyzed by Environ Tech Laboratories dated 26.09.2023 and the results are tabulated below: </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>Further, PPCB has issued office order no. 443 dated 09.08.2021 with subject Auto 'Acknowledgement-cum-Renewal Certificate' for regulatory clearances has mentioned that in suppression of Board's office order no. SEE(HQ)/F. No. 957/2016/59 dated 02.02.2016 and to provide ease of doing business to the entrepreneurs, the Board in its 185th meeting held on 07.01.2021 has decided to extend the facility for auto generated renewal to all categories of small scale industries/ projects, without inspection/ physical verification of the environmental parameters at the time of submission of such application(s) subject to the certain stipulations.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-indent: 71.95pt; line-height: 150%; margin: 6.0pt 5.9pt 12.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 9.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In view of above, may if approved, it is recommended that 'Consent to Operate' under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be renewed upto 30.09.2028 subject to the same conditions as mentioned therein. </span></p> |
