<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry was granted 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. </span>CTOW/Renewal/RPN/2021/17010370 <span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">dated 02/11/2021 valid upto 30.06.2023 for Screening and washing of river bed material @ 6000 CFT/day alongwith trade effluent @ 100 KLD to be recirculated through settling tank and domestic effluent @ 1 KLD to be utilized onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry was granted 'consent to operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/RPN/2021/17009602 dated 02/11/2021 valid upto 30.06.2023, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 2;"> </span>The industry has applied for renew 'consent to operate' under the said Acts. It has submitted the authority letter, the compliance report of previous consents, analysis report, mining registration certificate, self-declaration, rectification in partnership deed and CA certificate for undepreciated fixed assets as on 31.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Consent fees detail:</span></strong><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"> The industry has submitted the CA certificate for undepreciated fixed assets of value 25.77 lacs as on 31.03.2023. Now, it has deposited the consent fees as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;"><strong><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Under Air Act, 1981:</span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>As per consent deposited by the industry it is adequate upto 31.01.2033 under both the Acts including penalty @ 25%. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; tab-stops: 22.5pt;"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>In view of above, if approved, the industry may be granted renewal of 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 upto 30.09.2032, subject to the suitable conditions please. </span></p> |
