<p>It is intimated that subject cited industry is a Medium-scale orange category Solvent Extraction Plant and was granted 'consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/FGS/2023/20460010 dated 07/01/2023 & under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/FGS/2023/20459247 both dated 07/01/2023 valid upto 30/09/2023 for manufacturing of Rice Bran Oil @ 45 T/day and De-Oiled Rice Bran @ 249 T/day.</p>

<p>Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 along-with requisite documents and through OCMMS under orange Category. The industry has deposited Rs. 72000/- vide UTR. no. 836197820 dated 04/10/2023 as water consent fee and Rs. 72000/- vide UTR. no. 941819878 dated 04/10/2023 as Air consent fee against the un-depreciated fixed assets of Rs. 768.27 Lakh as on 31/03/2023 as per CA certificate dated 29/08/2023 as per Board's Office Order dated 29/10/2018. The consent fee is adequate upto 30/09/2027. The industry has deposited NOC regularization fee Rs. 1100/- vide no. 367081521 dated 04/10/2023, which is adequate.</p>

<p>The industry has submitted stack emission analysis and effluent report carried out by M/s Centre for Environment and Food Technology Pvt. Ltd (NABL Lab) on 20/10/2023 and as per stack emissions analysis report the SPM level in the stack was found to be 95 mg/Nm3 which is within the prescribed limits and effluent results are reproduced below:</p>

<p>The above said results are within prescribed limits.</p>
<p><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></p>
<p>Accordingly, the industry was visited by the AEE of this office on 30/10/2023. During the visit, it was observed as under:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>1.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry was not in operation during the visit. </p>
<p>2.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry has installed 6 TPH boiler and bio-mass (paddy straw) used as fuel.</p>
<p>3.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry has installed multi-cyclone as APCD.</p>
<p>4.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry has installed ETP for treatment of waste water generation from washing of surface/vessel etc. which was in operational condition.</p>
<p>5.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry has discharged its domestic effluent onto land for plantation after treatment in septic tank and its trade effluent onto land for plantation after treatment in ETP installed. The industry has 4000 Sqm area available for plantation.</p>
<p>6.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The industry has install 02 no. DG set of capacities 750 KVA and 62.5 KVA with canopies/acoustic rooms and adequate stack heights.</p>
<p>7.<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>Earlier the Board has carried out sampling of air emission on 09/04/2019 and effluent sampling on 25/04/2019 and reports have been attached.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be renewed for upto 30/09/2027 with suitable conditions, please.</p>
