<p style="text-align: justify;">The note of Regional Office may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The HCF is a 150 bedded hospital and was earlier granted Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 which was valid for a period upto 31.03.2023.’</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The HCF earlier applied renewal of Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and the same was refused as the the representative of HCF informed that earlier they had proposed to install 150 beds in the premises for the hostel purpose and applied the Consent for the same. But, due to some administrative reasons, the proposal could not be implemented and they left with 91 beds. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, the HCF has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 for 150 beds and has submitted all the required documents. The HCF is having 150 beds as per certificate submitted by the HCF.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The HCF has submitted requisite documents and CTO fee valid upto 31.03.2026 as per verified by the Regional Office.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The HCF has also submitted written letter in this office stating that they have obtained Consent to Operate under Air Act, 1981 and authorization under Bio-Medical Waste Rules, 2016 for 150 beds. They mistakenly intimated 92 beds instead of actual 150 beds.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now, they are reapplying for water consent for 150 beds. The HCF has also signed agreement with M/s Medicare Environmental Management Pvt. Ltd., Opp. Central Jail, Tajpur Road, Ludhiana valid upto 31.03.2028 for 150 beds</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The site of HCF was again visited by the officer of this office on 08.11.2023 and reported that as per the analysis report, all the parameters are within the prescribed limits of the Board (i.e. pH-7.4, TSS-16 mg/l, COD-56 mg/l, BOD-12 mg/l, Oil & Grease-BDL and Bio-Assay-90% survival of fish in 100% effluent in 96 hrs.)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As per reported of Regional Office, the HCF is complying with the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of the above, the Consent to Operate applied under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the HCF upto 31.03.2026 for 150 beds, please.</p>
