CTOW/Renewal/SAS/2023/22832610 dated 12.08.2023 having validity of 31.12.2023 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/SAS/2023/22387883 dated 18.07.2023 having validity of 30.09.2023 for manufacturing of MS wire @ 300 MT/Year, subject to certain condition and special condition that: -</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, with same production capacity. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has submitted CA certificate as per which fixed assets is Rs. 22.95 lakh as on 31/03/2023. The industry has deposited Rs.</span> <span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">11,000/- vide UTR no. YESB31705364283 dated 19/06/2023 under the Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 11,000/- vide UTR no. YESB31705359058 dated 19/06/2023 under the Air Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.06.2028, under both the Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has submitted its compliance report of earlier consent granted to it under the Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has now submitted agreement with M/s Charanjit & Co Technology LLP, Ludhiana for lifting of spent acid @ 2000 ltr/month in compliance of special condition of previous consent.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The site of the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 16.11.2023 and it was observed that:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: #262626; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 217; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that cnsent to operate</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"> under Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 &<span style="color: #262626; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-themetint: 217;"> under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto </span>30.06.2028, subject to suitable conditions and special conditions that: -</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level4 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall maintain the record of fresh water consumption as well as untreated effluent got lifted to the authorized recycler.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level4 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall maintain the record of readings of the water meter to ascertain the consumption of water and shall make available this record to the authorized visiting officer of the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level4 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall apply authorization under Hazardous & Other Wastes (Management & Trans boundary Movement) Rules, 2016 within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level4 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall ensure that no water pollution problem is caused in and around the area, due to operation of the unit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level4 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry will not discharge its untreated/ treated effluents into any River/Drain/Choe etc, directly/ indirectly, in any circumstances.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l2 level4 lfo3;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry will stick to the production capacity viz-a-viz discharge mentioned in this consent and will not increase the same without the prior written permission of the Board.</span></p>
