PBIP/PPCB/2018/CTE-289 dated 26/11/2018, valid up to 25/11/2019 with suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Thereafter, the project proponent had applied for obtaining CTE extension for further one year. The project proponent has submitted a copy of CTE issued to it along with compliance of conditions. The project proponent has also submitted the reason for non-completion of project within stipulated time as &ldquo;the original Consent to Establish expired on 25th November, 2019. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the project got delayed and is now again being taken up by the project proponent. The total project work came to a standstill due to the Corona pandemic. As on date, only digging work has been done. Therefore, no pollution equipment has been installed as the need for the same has not arisen. Accordingly, this application is being made for the renewal of NOC. It has further also requested to grant for CTE extension. Clarification on the application of the project proponent, but the project proponent has failed to reply the clarification raised and the application was returned.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p> <p class="Default" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Now, the project proponent has applied for obtaining fresh CTE. The project proponent has submitted a copy of previous CTE issued to it along with compliance of conditions. The project proponent has submitted Certificate of Incorporation, location plan, site plan, land documents such as registration deed, jamabandi, project report for setting up a 5 Star Hotel (Brand Radisson)in total land area of 0.726 Acre having max. built up area of 19589.77 Sqm comprising Hotel Rooms @ 143 Nos., Banquets &amp; Kitty Halls @ 4 Nos. and Restaurant &amp; Bar @ 2 Nos.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p> <p class="Default" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><a name="_Hlk148364316"></a><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; text-align: justify; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>It is pertinent to mention here that the project proponent has only changed mode of disposal and quantity of utilization of effluent but the project proponent has not changed the total quantity of effluent in terms of generation/treatment.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>The project is Building Construction and Area Development Projects having total project cost more than Rs. 50 crores and competency to decide the case lies with The Chairman of the Board.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 &amp; Air (Prevention &amp; Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent for one year please.</span></p>
