<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 103.5pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is intimated that the industry is a small scale red category dyeing unit and was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2022/18054443 dated 16.03.2022 for dyeing and washing of cloth @ 2000 kg/day with disposal of trade effluent @ 100.0 KLD into sewer after treatment through ETP and domestic effluent @ 3.5 KLD into sewer, which was expired on 15.03.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 103.5pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the industry was given personal hearing before the Chief Environmental Engineer, Ludhiana on 28.08.2023. During the hearing the Competent Authority of the Board was decided as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall dismantle the steam and electric connection of the excess machinery having discharge beyond the consented capacity. These excess machines shall be sealed by the Regional Office of the Board till the industry obtains CTO for the same.</span></p>

By the time, the DEMAT process is completed, the industry shall submit a certificate from Company Secretary of the PDA for the shares that have been recommended to the ROC for DEMAT.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo5;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The Environmental Engineer, Regional Office-3, Ludhiana shall seal the machinery as detailed at the decision no. 1.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 for the dyeing of polyester fabric or PC fabric @ 7.250 MT/day with disposal of trade effluent @ 200 KLD </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">and </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">domestic effluent @ 3.5 KLD into CETP 50 MLD. The industry had already deposited Rs. 21,000/- vide UTR. No. 000134051855 dated 14.08.2020 under Water Act, 1974, which is adequate upto 30.04.2025 under Water Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted the requisite documents as required for obtaining consent to operate of the Board. The details are as under:-</span></p>

The industry has also submitted certificate from Company Secretaries stating that 85 KL shares has been DEMAT and 115 KL shares are yet to DEMAT.</span></p>
