CTOW/Renewal/PTA/2019/8979738 dated 30.01.2019 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/PTA/2019/8979722 dated 30.01.2019, for Marriage palace-cum-banquet hall of capacity 150 persons/function, which were valid upto 30.09.2023 under orange category subject to conditions as mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">Now, the marriage <span style="color: black;">palace</span> has applied for renewal of Consent to Operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with requisite documents. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; tab-stops: 0in;"><span style="font-size: 12.5pt; line-height: 150%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The marriage palace has deposited Rs. 14500/- vide UTR. No. N229232599050299 dated 17.08.2023 on account of consent fee under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 14500/- vide R. No. N229232599049086 dated 17.08.2023 on account of consent fee under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The total consent fee deposited by the marriage palace is adequate upto 24.08.2028 after deducting 10% (Rs. 290/- each) penalty fee against the value of fixed assets of Rs. 49.50 lakh as on 31.07.2023 as per CA certificate dated 03.08.2023 submitted by it. </span></p>

Ltd. on 16.09.2023 and As per the report, the concentration of particulate are pH=8.11, TSS=62, TDS=523, COD=385, BOD=66, O&G= 6.4, the concentration of various parameters are within permissible limits as prescribed for such discharge onto land for plantation. </span></p>

CGWA-21/6/2020-CGWA-101 dated 06/04/2022 “that it shall be mandatory for the Project Proponent abstracting ground water to obtain NOC from CGWA or the concerned State/ UT Ground Water Authority as the case made be in the compliance condition in consent to operate and consent to establish issued by the State Pollution Control Board.” </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 130%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; font-weight: normal;">Accordingly, the Board vide letter no. 1955-57 dated 18/01/2023 has informed all the officers of the Board in continuation to earlier circular no. CEE(HQ)/2018/7956-84 dated 03/03/2018 and 768-97 dated 13/01/2021 to ensure the compliance of the said directions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 130%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; font-weight: normal;">PWRDA vide notification dated 27.01.2023 has exempted units from obtaining any permission of the authority, which are extracting not more than 300 cubic meters of ground water per month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 130%; margin: 12.0pt 0in .0001pt 4.5pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 130%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; font-weight: normal;">As per the application the project proponent is abstracting about 4.5 m3 per day and <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">as per the representative about </span>25 functions are held per year and the total consumption comes out to be 112.5 KL per year or 9.3 KL per month. Therefore, the outlet may be exempted from taking permission from PWRDA.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 18.0pt; background: white;"><em><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">It is pertinent to mention here that the Board vide office order no. 329 dated 14.09.2023 in suppression of Board’s office order no. 443 dated 09.08.2021<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>has decided to facilitate the entrepreneurs with auto generated of renewal of consent to establish/ operate /authorization of any category of small scale industries<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>/ projects / Health Care Facilities (upto 50 beds) and hazardous waste generating industries on the basis of self-declaration by these entrepreneurs and shall be without any inspection / physical verification by the officers of the PPCB. </span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt: auto; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; line-height: 150%; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;">The marriage palace has submitted compliance report of consent conditions earlier granted to it under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 as well as compliance of mechanism/guidelines for control of pollution from banquet halls/restaurants/hotels/motels prescribed by board vide office order dated 02.02.2021 as well as self declaration in Annexure-A as per Board’s office order no. 329 dated 14.09.2023. </span></p>
